FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international Robotics Team Competition for children between the ages of 10 and16, developed in a partnership between LEGO Company and FIRST, a USA-based organisation.
The mission of the league is to introduce children to the fun and excitement of science and technology, develop children's abilities to work in teams and stimulate children's use of creativity in the problem-solving process.
“Through this initiative, we will be able to attract the attention of prospective students,” said Johannes de Vries of the Department of Engineering.
